They use sub-par roofing products products that are cheaper for them with poor workmanship warranties that will not transfer if you sell your home, unlike other roofing products that typically provide customers a transferable warranty for an extra $2. Per shingle bundle. Less than $100 on a 3000sf home roof. They use subcontractors to install roofs so they are not liable for the warranty. Look up Abelard Construction, that's a renamed RESTOR....they closed up shop and left thousands of people without roof warranties in 2014 in many states.
They don't return phone calls when there is an issue. After they collected my insurance check. It's impossible to get things scheduled, instead letting calls go to their answering service even though their clearly screening phone calls in the office. I got so aggravated trying to reach them for 3 weeks and finally drove there in Carmel. I sat outside their office one day watching them walk around inside trying to call them prior to finally walking in!!!! They take exceptionally long amounts of time to finish a job and use cheap labor who are not formally trained and do not speak a lick of English. Yet they want a 50 % mark up on profit for any additional bids they provide beyond insurance scope of work. Staggering profiits. They tried billing insurance for work that was not performed. Additionally. Yet then tried saying it was an error? No I'd think I'd know if new siding was installed on my house after my roof was done! Certainly they would have to special order my new siding as it was not a stocked product per the contract! Typical storm chasing company opening offices in other states to chase hail and then close up shop when the work runs out. Watch out for their contracts that screw the customer if you give them your insurance check. You're automatically giving them 10% if you cancel with no work performed. That adds up on a $150,000 job. They will hold you to that clause in the contract. Ruthless. Finally, Watch out for the owner. He could sell Eskimos ice and then smother you with his photo everywhere plastering his picture all over every email, website page, and Facebook's epiphany of the day posts on his idea of selling products with his shiny Rolex and Bentley. Need I say any more? Insurance work /hail damage is predominantly their work as they're making money off your tragedy whether it's flooding or exterior.
