    tear down and install privacy fence. had to fire them on install day due to issues not disclosed

    Got these guys through Angi's list. Mike responded to the Angi list inquiry relatively quickly, and came out to give quote. I ended up putting down a deposit based on his "word", and that install would be 2-3 weeks. During week 3, I had to call Mike myself for an update. He gave me his installer number, to call him and see when they are coming out. Called Brian, scheduled for a Monday morning install. Sunday, Brian calls me to confirm, only to find out that the supplies were not delivered for them to install, rescheduled to Wednesday. Mike calls me back, stating that he does not control mother nature, but the issue was actually his lack of coordination and delivery of wood, and called utility markers at the last minute to come out. These excuses were red flags, as Mike comes across as a miserable person, who is doing YOU a favor, and take no ownership of his own downfalls. Installers came by this morning, only to tell me that they would need to build 3-4 feet into our yard from the original fence, and that there would be open gaps between neighbors fences in the back and mine due to electrical lines. then, Brian said that there would be more work due to the overgrowth that needs to be cleared before they can even mark the fence. Mike failed to tell me any of this. So, on top of having to call to get my own install scheduled, AFTER a deposit was immediately charged to my credit card, and then finding out that my fence would not be in the same place as it is currently in, and the "trouble" they would have to go through to clear out the overgrowth, they did not have the tools to do the job that day. My issue is that none of this was told to me when getting the quote. Overgrowth could have been taken care of prior to install had Mike just been thorough and honest in the beginning, and I would not have signed on had Mike actually took the time to look at my backyard when he came out to quote. I called Mike, only to get hung up on when I asked why he did not mention any of the issues that the installers had, and why I wasn't informed of in the beginning. I got Alan, owner, cell phone number, called him and left him a message to call me back ASAP. then called Mike back. He was hesitant to tell me when I would get my deposit back, told me Alan was in Alaska, and that they got a hold of him to get "permission" to refund me today. What a waste of time, money and emotions. do not use this company if you want trustworthy dependable people to do your work. AFter all, Mike said that they install 34 fences a week. They obviously don't need or want your money, and will hang up on you instead of providing proper customer service. Awful! I still have not recieved a call back from Owner, Alan. These guys are unreliable, rude, and take no ownership of their own work. Hire at your own risk and headache!

    Room addition and deck

    BEWARE !!!! Revive Remodeling LLC Mike Pirwitz DOES NOT have a an active license in Columbus. I am one of the unfortunate consumers that hired this company. I hired them for a large room addition and deck. He has abandoned the job. The workmanship is horrendous, failing inspections. The job is not even close to being finished. This is not an isolated instance. He has been before the Columbus Review Board at least 3 times. Losing his license for hiring unskilled labor and not completing contract. He has also been before the Grove City Review Board. His bond company has cancelled him as of 11/23/2017. Buildzoom needs to investigate who they are advertising on their site.
