This is not a review out of anger or resentment. I am sharing because I do not want this to happen to anyone else. If I did not stop working with Johnny I do not know the extent of the problems his work would have caused in the long run (I had to hire someone else to re-do EVERYTHING). I truly like Johnny as a person, seem genuine, kind, understanding, easy to work with and had a competitive price. However, PLEASE whatever you do do not use their services. After having Johnny and his team work on my house for 3 months it was problem after problem. He said that all his men were licensed and experienced professionals, it was my fault of not being more deligent. I have three contractors and a plumber that can attest to the construction defects: Some bigger issues included: using the cheapest/thinnest concert board to install around my bathtubs, and to which was install wrong with huge gaps and screws not being spaced to code--this cause bowing and dramatically lessen the life of the tile structure. The valve his team install brusted open and flooded by upstairs, I found out that it was poorly installed and not properly tested. The tub he install was crooked and leans to one side--I can't even fix this now. There was lots of areas missing grout and caulking--carelessness. He installed a faucet and when I asked why there was a big gap between the base of the faucet and the wall (concerned about long term water damage within the wall) he said it was because of the faucet itself--an emergency plumber came and fixed it in less than 30 mins. There is so much more I can share, I have photos and documentations of all of this and more. I wanted to give johnny and chance to remedy this as required by California State Licensing Board, but time and time again it just created more problems, and ways of cutting corners and costs. I was taken advantage of, truly and fully taken advantage of--I was rarely home during the work they did because of work and whenever I saw and questioned something strange--it was always deflected. How was I suppose to know? All I knew was that it looked funny. I am happy I found a good reliable trustworthy contractor now, I threw away thousands of dollars--I do not want this to happen to anyone else. This is your home, and this is your investment and hard work. I have never been so hurt and disappointed in my life, I trusted johnny, really liked him...he took advantage of that.
