Biggest complaint is owner's lack of work ethic and professionalism. 2 projects. First involved masonry/drains. $20,000 over other quotes but I was highly recommended so I hired. The timeline given 2 wks, took 4 months but fair job so asked to do exterior home stucco/repairs. Did not provide written contract, only oral, expected cash only payment and quit job day prior to meeting with inspector despite having reached verbal agreements on project pricing 2 months prior. The reason given: not enough profit. Hung up on me. Left me in a terrible situation with the front of the house already demo and city/permit deadline I now could not meet. Felt manipulated and very disrespected. My mistake: trusting him. Should have had a backup contractor.
