Beware of Ricardo Juarez (License #1027325) and his partner Victor. They took my money and abandoned the job. Ricardo is preying on homeowners by using revoked license to appear legitimate- and then disappearing with the money. His tactic is: high upfront payments, misrepresented license status and vanish mid-project. Report this crook to help protect others people from the same fate.

Just before Christmas this last year, we had a water leak in our kitchen. Ricardo helped us understand the problems and what would be required to fix them. He worked hard to mitigate the damage and was patient while we tried to deal with our insurance company. He held our hands through the process of getting materials for the rebuild, and was present at the site consistently.

Not only was Ricardo a competent contractor, but he was a strong and calming force at a time when we were going through some very hard times after losing our kitchen at the holidays, going through countless frustration with insurance, the stress of having our lives upended, etc. Ricardo was understanding and made us feel like he was our advocate, and that was invaluable. Ricardo was honest about some of his critics and past jobs, which we also appreciated, and we found Ricardo reliable and trustworthy.

The quality of work in our kitchen is superior, and he turned a terrible loss into a wonderful gain for our family once the job was finished. We wish we had been able to work with Ricardo under better circumstances, but there is no doubt we will hope to use him for future projects in our home.

My experience with Ricardo Juarez was very positive. He remodeled my family room, kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. Ricardo was cognizant that I’m a senior and my daughter is disabled, and he made sure that safety modifications were done to accommodate us. I had a list and pictures of what I wanted to do in the house. In addition, Ricardo made some sound recommendations. The job took longer than anticipated, however, Covid effected the supply of building materials.—Not Ricardo’s fault. There were many sub-contractors on the job and all were pleasant to deal with. I’ve recently contacted Ricardo again for some additional work at my house, as well as a bathroom remodel for my daughter.

If I could give zero stars, I would. STAY AWAY! Ricardo misappropriated $60,000 of my money and used it to finish someone else's home. Now, he refuses to work, won't answer my calls or texts, and my home is at a complete standstill. Nothing has been done for months. He stiffed the framers on a $30,000 lumber bill and almost $20,000 worth of labor that is owed to them for finishing the framing. This guy is a crook and a fraud. STAY AWAY!
