We were beyond thrilled with our kitchen/dining room transformation. Rick and his team helped to create the design, layout and look of the project, offering several options to choose from. The process was clear once we decided on our design. Rick’s proposal clearly defined what was included so we knew exactly what to expect.

Our house being ~100 years old presented some challenges but Rick had creative and classic solutions to each that perfectly melded the old with the new. His thoughtful approach to how even the smallest detail would impact the feel of the renovation really showed and we are thrilled with the way our home now flows/feels.

We truly value what he and his team can do and have had them back for several additional smaller projects since the larger job.

Be warned. After the work was initially done I had water pouring into my house after a big rain. It was determined they did not do the flashing correctly. I have had nothing but issues since he built an addition on my house a few years ago. The most recent issue was finding out they applied the wrong type of roof for the pitch of the addition. I was told the type of roof he used was cheaper than what should have been used and that I will get water under the shingles because of the roof pitch.

I paid Rick Jackson construction 50k cash last summer (May of 2013, for 2 months) for construciton of my home (many rooms/baths). The master bath was re-done. An oval shower was put in (per Rick's suggestion, in which he stated he never installed). 3 months later we saw mold & the chalking/seem was coming out. He came & repaired. In early Aug water began seeping through the main hallway. We contacted Rick, he came out 3 times, we were not a priority and he did not care (if anything rude). It has been a month & a half, we contacted a plumber & contractor. 2 people came in & advised the shower was put in poorly and not installed properly. We have black mold now and the shower has to be re-done. We got an email from Rick stating that it is not his responsibilty and our shower is out of warranty.

I have had most of my house remodeled by Rick Jackson and was always very pleased with his work. In July 2013 I called him for an estimate on some remodeling work on my garage. He came right over, we told him what we wanted and he said he would work up the estimate and get back to us. After many phone calls (most were unreturned), we finally got the estimate in April 2014. I called and told him we were happy with the price and to pick up the deposit. We have heard NOTHING from him AT ALL!!!
To me, he has been very unprofessional. If he decided he didn't want the job he should have said so...

I was very impressed with Rick and his crew from the very start. He fully explained every move before he made it. Very professional with everything that he does and was always on site making sure everything goes as planned. I will recommend Rick to anybody cause I know he's the right man for the job.
