We purchased the house when it was about 80% completed. Within a month or so of our move in date siding started coming off the house. The cement was cracked before we even moved in. Drain ditch foundation across driveway started crumbling within a year. Granited countertops were chipped everywhere, bathroom vents were not connected in attic to vent outside, moisture went into attic. But the worse was when we went to sell the house 2 years later and we found out our crawl space was flooded because the underground drainage from downspouts were coupled backwards causing all the rainwater to drain back into the crawl space. Not only did we lose the sale of that house but we also had to dish out $6000 to have the crawl space completely waterproofed. The list of repairs goes on and on. And yes we had the house inspected.
