Agree pleasant person, but not contractor grade work with exorbitant prices.

Received quote detailing 3hrs of work at $75/hr with travel fees, and 10% stipend for parts purchased.

Job took 3 days to complete I was charged $500.00 while spendind a day assisting and I still have to finish the job and redo sub par work Rick performed.

I would not use this guy, not contractor grade work and very expensive.

    Very disappointed....

Very pleasant person. When he apologized for being five hours late. Said that he had double booked.

Toured task site. Refused to acknowledge mastic on the surface of tiles that his sub installed previously for prior house owner . Silly statement on his part. Said he didn't use mastic (common for small jobs) and refused to discuss. Also said that erratic tile spacing on his new install was just normal, in spite of perfect spacing in original installation next to his added job. (Sub could have used plastic spacers from big box stores.) Mismatched tile he defended (and was understandable) based on lot color differences.

Called in to repair simple leaks with faucet. Said wouldn't repair unless authorized to replace all exposed copper lines with flex plastic. Packing was the only problem in turn off valve and the faucet simply had a leak from being 20 years old. Asked to look at pocket door mis-alignment and he said that he wouldn't reset because doing so was "difficult".

Will charge for visit (getting past "free quote" claim) and will require another visit to scope out repairs.
