Ridgebeam Construction
RIDGEBEAM CONSTRUCTION has over 35 years experience in residential construction. We are licensed and bonded by the state of California, #738746, we carry $1 million in liability insurance and hold an active SF City business license #1002772.
Founded in 1997 by David Carlos Salaverry RIDGEBEAM does small jobs and residential renovations for a discerning San Francisco clientele.
RIDGEBEAM works with realistic budgets to provide top quality at a fair price point. While not the cheapest of the cheap, Ridgebeam is never the priciest. We offer a high value-to-cost ratio.
RIDGEBEAM does kitchens and bathrooms well. We're specialists in kitchen tuneups; replacing face frames, doors and hinges (refacing) as an alternative to full kitchen remodels. We install roll-outs, sinks, counter-tops, etc. If you need renovation work done right, call us for a bid or fair hourly rate.
We also do painting, plumbing, electrical, tile, drywall repairs and flooring. David still wears his tool belt on most jobs, so you won't be getting unsupervised, unknown subcontractors. We know our way through the maze of the SF Building Department, can expedite permits and solve the problems that come up with inspectors. If you need honest craftsmen to bid and build your project, call RIDGEBEAM CONSTRUCTION today!

We hired David and his team at ridgebeam construction to do a seismic retrofit. He raised the quoted price by 30% mid way through construction which was valid because of unforseen challenges with our first floor layout. However the team was unprofessional, vaping in our house, leaving trash (soda cans, takeout containers) scattered around that we had to clean. They also failed the city inspection three times (which is expensive) and on numerous occasions claimed to have finished bracing a part of the house but when we'd check on it, it would be less than half done. They also accidentally put nails thorough our hardwood floors, that I stepped on then had to go get an emergency tetanus shot. Lastly, they used much of our own equipment (ie shovel, garden hose) much of which they broke. They left behind tons of debris (leftover drywall, cement piled up on our driveway). Lastly, they cemented our side door shut so we can no longer use the side door to enter our house & when asked to fix any of this, David simply said " let me draw you up a quote" (to fix pretty things he broke!)
