Crook and dishonest Person. Avoid this company and family of Brad and Amy Fenton, They live on other people expense by ripping people off, and taking advantage of innocent people. I am taking this guy to court as he refuse to refund my money or furnish the work. Worse experience ever with this crook.

Brad Fenton and Ridgview Restoration owe me a refund plus damages. The carpentry was so shabby I halted the project. They left my place in a shambles, broke a window, severed a wire and shorted out my lights. After many promises to rebate some of my upfront payment I have not received a cent. They left material and a ladder behind and despite my many appeals to retrieve that, they do not even answer their phones nor return calls. I had to hire multiple contractors to demo what they did and repair my home. What a sorry outcome when Mr. Fenton portrayed himself as a legitimate contractor. He was able to lie himself out of the claim with BBB and they just dismissed the case. He is not licensed to do business in KC where I live and has not registered with the Secretary of State. He is a fraud and should be stopped.

Avoid this company and owners if you don't want to be ripped off or sued! Amy and Brad Fenton are nothing but crooks. The other comments and poor reviews have merit. Brad has a recently pending felony case for a first degree property damage in Independence, Missouri. If you want a reputable and honest contractor, this is not the one!

Opportunistic liar. This Contractor solicited us. Got me to sign a "contract" without informing me that it was a "contract" Asked me to sign "to give him permission to speak to my insurance company" - he did no measuring - and was hoping to just go off the "scope of loss". When he demanded $15K in cash upfront and we had not even gotten bids from all the contractors and we refused to hand over the cash, he informed me I was in breech of contract and he was suing us for nearly $7k. After $1000 and nearly a year of court dates that were pushed off at his request - we WON the case he had against us. He lied thru his teeth in court. Disgusting way to do business. Prey on innocent people who do not know how to "scam" like he obviously does. We have never been to court, never been sued. We are good honest people unlike Mr. Fenton who is no stranger to court cases and run ins with the law.The stress he put us through was terrible. His business is in his new wife's name and his business that he held in KS is no longer. Shame on you Brad and Mary Jo Fenton!

Brad and Amy Fenton and their company Ridgeview Roofing and Restoration, Have refused to refund my deposit despite the fact that no material has been received or services furnished. The deposit ($5,373.50) was issued on 11/7, we notified Brad on the 8th that the property we were trying to buy and refurbish failed the Title process and that we could not move forward. Since then they have told me repeatedly that the check is in the mail. We've been forced to take them to court to resolve the issue.

The worst exp I've ever had with a contractor! Just lies and broken promises! Mr & Mrs Fenton have made a habit out of taking advantage of people and making fraudulent insurance claims... Now they have changed the business name to JBA and headed out west to take advantage of the recent fire victims in Ca.
