First American Home Warranty assigned the contractor to a work order on my house. The contractor was immediate in contacting me to make an appointment for a Wednesday within a two hour window. However, Wednesday came and went and no one showed up. On Thursday, the contractor called around noon to tell me that I missed my appointment. I told him that was not the case. We re-scheduled again for the following Wednesday for the same time. Wednesday came. 10 minutes before the window ended, I called up First American and asked them to re-assign the work order to a new contractor. I am tempted to bill the company $160 ($40 per hour/my salary x 4 hours waiting around).
