Rising Star Construction will charge a premium price to get the work done quickly. Cody met the deadline as promised. However, the list of mistakes and fixes is ongoing including a leaking roof, leaking under the kitchen sink, the countertop cutout is too large for the kitchen sink leaving an exposed edge for mildew and food collection, the promised 'custom cabinets' are cheap particle board with raw edges left exposed, the promised shiplap fireplace is made of plastic and the 'custom wood mantle' is not made of wood. The ceiling fans could only be turned on if the lights were on (only one switch). The can lights were installed with the brightest level and no dimmers. The water main was pulled out of the wall and left fully exposed in the laundry room, which looks terrible and unfinished. The tub fixtures do not work properly. He has left me to deal with his contractors and hope that they will fix things. Some have and some have not and of course, I must pay more money. I do not recommend this company.
