DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. ALAN FRIEDBERG OF RENOVATE-CREATE AND RIVERSIDE INTERIORS AND GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT OTHER NAMES HE IS DOING BUSINESS UNDER IS A THIEF WHO EMPLOYS SUB STANDAD WORKERS. OUR UPPER EAST SIDE RENOVATION SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 6 MTHS BUT ENDED UP BEING 18 MTHS. NO OR POOR SUPERVISION RESULTED IN COSTLY REPLACEMENTS AND DELAYS. IE. OUR WOOD FLOOR HAD TO BE RIPPED OUT A REDONE AT OUR OWN EXPENSE. NOW WE ARE DEALING WITH AN AC SYSTEM THAT LEAKS 10 YRS WORTH OF FREON IN JUST 4 WEEKS AND THE CONTRACTOR HAS WALKED AWAY IGNORING OUR CALLS AND EMAILS. THE INITIAL FEE/S AND COSTS QUADRUPLED OVER THE NIGHTMARE RENOVATION AND HE WOULD ONLY RESPOND TO OUR CALLS WHEN HE NEEDED MONEY. WHEN IT CAME TIME TO FINALIZE OUR ACCOUNT WE SENT A LETTER LAYING OUT WHAT WE FELT WE OWED. HIS RESPONSE WAS A LIEN ON OUR COOP WITH A LETTER THAT WE HAD TO PAY HIM $50,000 MORE TO GET IT REMOVED. THIS CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE IN JAIL. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!
