We have been using rj barillo now for over 20 years as our contractor on our hideout home. Ronnie has always been there to supervise his men to ensure they provide the best workmanship possible. The past few years we've had him build us an addition, 2 car garage, new kitchen and bathrooms as well as out roof a few months ago. He is highly recommendable and his work speaks for itself.

Ron Barillo has done work for my family for 30 years. He has always been extremely reliable and prompt about getting the job done. His workmanship is of the highest quality and his team of employees are all experienced in their field. I would highly recommend him for any work needed to be done on your home. We are very happy with the work he has done for us over the years and will continue to do. We have lived in this community for 30 years and have tried the rest, that is why we opt for the BEST, RJ Barillo Contracting.

BUYER BEWARE-
RJ Bariilo was hired to replace decks, build a new roof over a deck, Install new drainage around the house, paint, and put on a new roof and gutters. The project was scheduled for 2 months and after 8 months, the job was still not complete. Ron was almost never on-site. His crew damaged a floor, a leather couch, killed a beautiful 25 year old Magnolia tree and another mature tree mysteriously disappeared from our property. The new porch would have not been built as discussed had we not been present for much of the job. We came home one day to find them framing to cover the entire deck. The crew was not aware of the design. Thankfully we caught that error before it was built. Our new roof has already leaked, as flashing wasn't installed under the T-111, and he didn't install gutters under drip edge. Near the location of the roof leak mold was found behind the kitchen cabinets, which necessitiated the kichen cabinets come out and drywall be replaced. Three times he threatened to walk off the job: the first because he was frustrated that HE kept buying the wrong lattice even through we specified the exact size, the second because the job was taking him so long and he didn't want to wait until the end for his final payment (and at that point we even paid him ahead of the agreed schedule) and the third time he made the decision to walk off our job he felt it wasn't financially worth it for him to finish the job and honor his contract, we would not agree to pay him early, and we would not agree to release him from the damages caused by his crew for which he did not want to accept responsibility. Ron poorly communicates agreed upon contractual direction to his crew, he rarely shows up on the job, when money is tight he pressures the customer for more payments, and some workmanship is sloppy resulting is damage to property. -

Never initiated or completed work only cashed my check and would not refund my money. I didn't know or realize honoring contracts and being honest has been lost in our country.

This guy is BAD NEWS! BEWARE AND DO NOT US EVER!!!!
Damaged my property and never returned to repair it after asking 5 times.
Eventually had to take to court for him to show up.
Seems that quality of work may be going down hill
