TERRIBLE BUILDER! This company also goes by the name Four Seasons Sunrooms PHS (Professional Home Services). Randy Haney is the owner and he cannot be trusted based on our experience. We hired him on 12-14-18 to build a $56K sunroom addition on our home in Loudon, TN. After 2 months of no-shows he sent his contractor "Matt" who worked for 2.5 days and did nothing but make mistakes, damage our home and property, and leave us with improper excavation (water is now running towards our house, flooded our basement, and would have definitely gathered under the proposed location for the sunroom), an exposed water line (during 17-degreeF weather!), trash and debris. He took a check and promised not to cash it until footers were done, then got in his truck and left, never returning. Footers were never completed, but we are out $12280. We saw the direction this was headed and fired them on 2-13-19 and have been trying to get a response and our money back ever since. Randy talked to me just once, saying he would finish job with "better crew". I told him we had no faith in his company and we wanted to end relationship. They have been "calculating how much we owe for the work they did" for the past 7 weeks. AVOID THIS COMPANY. We have proof. Randy was hired (contract signed 4/10/20), prior to any delays caused by factory shutdowns for the COVID pandemic. I was told by Randy 3 week lead time for production and delivery.. not bad. 6 weeks later, materials arrive from manufacturer.. (ok.. sometimes there are unforeseen delays.. we can deal with that). I ask how long the installation should take.. Randy: "should be 2-3 days". not gonna hold him on that due to weather.. "Matt" by himself begins the demo and pouring of the footer for 1 wall. He does a pretty crappy job of pouring a footer for the side wall. Sure the concrete is there, but he also managed to spread it about 6 inches wider than necessary, which doesn't exactly look good on top of the exposed paver patio. but i'll deal with that with extra flashing later on, I just want the room built. A few days later another crew shows up, they manage to mostly build 2 of the 3 walls in half a day, then leave. Several days later, Randy shows up to do installation work of the third wall himself, since part of the material wasn't delivered with the rest, causing another delay. On June 9th (2 1/2 weeks later) everything is finally installed. We think all is finally good. Nope. The wall that Randy installed has a window that has a broken latch and the sliding window doesn't fit correctly in the frame he built. So, we have to wait for the warranty service, but that should be fast.. right??? July 22nd. Window is replaced.. closer works.. but window still doesn't fit correctly. So I contact Randy. "The window works. We're done. Anything else will be between you and Four Seasons warranty department", from Randy. So.. $18,000... 15 weeks, and I got a 95% functioning sunroom, a construction owner that won't return my calls or texts, and won't provide any contact information to the manufacturers warranty department.
So, all in all.. nah.. I wouldn't deal with this guy again. If he wants to come out and correct his poor installation, he's welcome to do that.. but he's not stepping foot on my property without me there to oversee him.
The product is great. Just not an installation company I will ever refer anyone to use.
