Even though they finally made things right (more or less), I cannot recommend Sears. They did not meet their scheduled appointment date. They were unprepared to do the job contracted for. The supervisor never showed up during the day of the job. The workers were uninformed of what was in the contract. I actually had to go out and tell them that they were not doing the job contracted for. They would have left out all of the extras I paid for if I had not pointed them out personally. They did not finish my porch as contracted for (I caught them too late and did not insist that they tear it up). Consequently, the porch leaked. They came back for free to fix it, but they did only a small patch job and it still leaked. Finally I contacted the regional supervisor and insisted the job be done correctly as contracted for. The day they finally came out to do the real job on the porch it was cold and misty, so they did not lay down the double 30 pound felt as contracted for. They finished the job as a cold 'torch down'. It is not leaking now, but I still don't trust it. Every time it rains I go out to see if it is leaking. Don't use Sears unless you are willing to watch them like a hawk and serve as the general contractor of the job.
