Buyer Beware - Richard Eastmead does not stand behind his work, nor correct his own mistakes. His attitude is condescending and highly combative instead of trying to work through amicable resolution. We recently contracted with him to do elevator shaft preparation (~14k job). Richard purchased the wrong interior doors with an eye brow arch instead of Roman arch which matches the entire home. Upon installation- he admitted the error was his and that he would get the correct doors and replace when they came in at no charge. Unfortunately, he couldn’t locate the same profile (which doesn’t make sense given Roman arch doors are easily available) which led us explore a different style. After several weeks of chasing him down, Richard’s idea of resolution was to give us a $50 credit, and have us pay for new doors AND labor to install, despite our initial outlay of $900 for INCORRECT doors. When I pushed back and explained that this wasn’t acceptable, and asked him to credit us the original $900 (and we would cover the difference of new doors that were more expensive) and he would waive labor - he rudely refused and told me to take him to court (which we will do out of principal). Further, the work he did on the shaft was insufficient and the expert installers had to re-do the interior molding, build a new equipment platform as his was structurally unsound, and re-align the door jambs as his work didn’t meet code standards. Bottom line - he is a fraud who doesn’t honor his work and his customer service level is astoundingly poor. Save yourself the aggravation and find a competent contractor who is ethical and acts with integrity.

10827 Grove Terrace, Seminole, FL 33772-4725, I had him create a patio going from my sliding doors in the bedroom straight to my pool and he exceeded my expectations. Not only did he do the job exactly how I wanted it done, he also helped me come up with ideas on how to build it that had the end result better then I even dreamed it did. 1 piece of advice, if he makes a recommendation, it's not for his pocket. It's for your comfort and I promise whatever idea he comes up with trust him. He definitely knows what's best if u just sit with him for a minute and tell him exactly what u want, and why.
