Mr. Robert J. Cotton, from S&R Heating & Air Condition Company installed my fire place, but he did not complete the job. He failed to come when many times he said he was coming. Due to their negligence, and on going stalling; I was unable to get the carpet done due to them prolonging this job since 8 June 2021.
Mr. Cotton charged me $1,100.00 but quoted to me on the phone $750.00 I do not know the reason for him going up on the price. The gentleman I had to watch everything and carry out the project while I was out of town, Mr. Benjamin Bryant. He was the person who contacted S&R (Robert Jerome Cotton) to install the fireplace and Mr. Cotton had Carlos Riveras to do the drywall.
Mr. Riveras was not supposed to drywall the area where the fireplace wires goes, because he is not qualified to put tape around the wire, which was not connect properly, so the drywall had to be removed again, in or to get the wires properly connected to the fireplace.
Mr. Riveras failed to return to complete the job. He took my deposit for $400.00, he failed to give me a receipt but told me that Mr. Cotton was going to give me a receipt, but Mr. Cotton failed to write it on the receipt he gave me for installing the fireplace. DO NOT USE ROBERT J. COTTON AND CARLOS RIVERA!
