He is the most deceitful contractor that we have ever hired. There was not 1 thing that he did right including not getting a permit to do the work. Everything has to be torn out that he installed and is now costing us double the price He also removed one of our floor joists which is a carrying beam for support of the floor. Do not hire him.

DO NOT HIRE!!!
His price was low and so was the quality of his work and his materials. He left the job with numerous building code violations. The state suspended his Supervisors license until 12/20/17. His appeal of that suspension was denied. He never surrendered said license as ordered to. Numerous small claims court (Plymouth) appearance against me indicate he has an "in" with the court.court. -

The work this contractor did was of the lowest quality and poor workmanship. Work was not per code and was illegal and unprofessional. Damage to personal property occurred. This contractor filed bankruptcy in May 2014 in order to prevent anyone from making any claims about the poor quality work that was negligent and improper. Also insurance policy lapsed for workers comp in 2009.

Had bathroom remodeled. Contractor tiled over heating vent. Reason is he put new plumbing over the heating pipe and then tiled over it to cover it up. Now my bathroom has no heat. Even if heating pipe can be moved, there is no room between joists to fit new heating pipe and vent. The vanity faucet leaks, the showerhead faucet leaks and the shower spout squeals. (I was able to fix the showerhead at least just by adding plumber's tape around the threads. Amazing that a contractor didn't do this) There was also a one inch gap left between new walls and ceiling. I ended up taking contractor to court and won however, contractor claimed bankruptcy.

I have to agree with all of these posts on this website Rob Douglas from Scituate was hired to remodel our kitchen for us He walked off the job when I questioned some of the additional costs he requested after the work was done and when I listed several items he never did He was nasty to my wife and unfortunately I had already paid him 99% of the job thinking he would finish what he was paid for He also screwed up all of our electrical outlets and lighting in the new kitchen requiring us to hire a real electrician to fix what he had doen and bring everything up to code Do not hire him and he will tell you he can do everything including electric, plumbing, tile, wood flooring etc Save your self a lot of headaches and cost and do not hire this contractor Ron Protasewich
