On New Years Eve my girlfriend and I hired Mr. Harper to install a new drain in our guest bathtub. During the install he stripped the threads on the plumbing under the tub. Then rather than stopping there, he attempted to force the drain to screw into place, breaking the drain pipe free from under the tub, and causing the drain to be completely open and emptying onto our neighbors ceiling on the unit below in the process. He then used silicone to try and seal up the drain (not plumbers putty) and cover up the fact that the newly installed drain was sitting in the plumbing crooked. The first time I added any water to the tub, it poured directly on to our neighbors ceiling. When confronted Mr. Harper took no responsibility, even though in quoting the damages multiple plumbers have found him to be at fault, and even refused to refund our money for the initial repair. Don't do business with Mr. Harper. In our case he did roughly $1,000 in damage to our plumbing and our neighbors unit, and refused to take ANY responsibility for the fact that he created an open drain during the install.
