  General Contractor Robmar Claims to be. Mr. Big Shot who claims to have been in business over 30 years had, did my concrete.
  Such a crappy job I explained I wanted it to have straight lines and where I wanted the lines and it to be smooth like the rest of our concrete. I paid the remainder when they started pouring. Did I mention I had to put 3/4 payment down and waited from March 2022 to November 2022. Bad mistake it’s like the guy didn’t care about the work he didn’t make all the cuts just 1 and then left like he gave up. He said he would fix it in the morning but the cement was already drying I seriously want to cry! Oh did I mention they didn’t order enough cement to finish, he won’t return my calls. This guy is a THEIF. His crew has no skill at all, he charged me over 20k for this terrible job and crazy long wait. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR!!!

  We would prefer to write a favorable review but feel compelled to provide information that is helpful to the next consumer. We had a large concrete project done by Robmar Construction Services. Although some parts of the project were satisfactory, many were not. There were two areas of major concern. The front steps were not pitched properly resulting in standing water/ice; a safety concern. The second is an approximate 43 x 20 exposed aggregate patio. Due to an error in calculation made by Bob, the owner of Robmar Construction Services, a shortage of concrete was ordered and poured. A second concrete pour arrived 2 hours later. Exposed aggregate is a time sensitive process. With the two-hour delay, this left us with a patio that was half exposed aggregate and half that was not. We brought our concern to Bob, the owner of Robmar, on multiple occasions. At one point he stated that once our patio furniture was on it, we wouldn’t even notice it. During another conversation, Bob got belligerent and threatened to walk off the job before it was complete. We told Bob that we were advised that to properly fix his error he would need to do a repour. Bob was adamant that he was not going to repair or replace his mistakes and stated, “I will not fix it unless my mother comes out of the grave or by a court of law”. This information was stated to both me and my wife. Mistakes happen. How they are handled is what matters. In our opinion, Bob’s words spoke volumes about the type of person he is and the company he runs. Knowing what we know now, we never would have hired Bob/Robmar Construction Services nor will we recommend them to anyone for future concrete work.
