  Kitchen remodel upgraded electrical and two room additions

  First off we would only recommend this contractor to people wanting a new build. We are and have been currently going through a kitchen remodel electrical upgrade and having two additions added to the back of our home. Currently the company has received more then 75% of the contracts financial portion. We started the project in March of 2019 with the allotted time of one month due to heavy rains in Texas, it got off to a slow start.Since then we are still going through many bumps in the road to get the job completed as listed: Many days we have sat here waiting to see if anyone was going to show up, if we were to add up those days it would be a full month of nothing being done. They don't communicate with us,there go to guy that is set up to watch and oversee that the workers are doing there jobs correctly is spent sitting in his truck 95%of the time. They are suppose to bring in skilled laborers and they bring in day laborers to do the work. So if you don't mind Home Depot I need to work people in your house that is a good thing. They are unprofessional when it comes to sub contractors they use with a few exceptions. There responses to our needs and concerns are always we will take care of it don't worry we do a punch list before we are done. They told us we always clean up and they don't, there workers don't steel but they have. They have and still do bring people here that have helped themselves to OUR things because they come unequipped. The owner offered up a fireplace at there expense as a gift but WE soon found out later that we now have to pay to tile it and build a hearth so not a gift or free to us but the owner keeps demanding the cost was 2000,00 and we should be grateful. After paying out thousands of dollars to him alone he claims we have not paid him anything. We have had well over a thousand dollars taken out of the budget for a mobile restroom that nobody ever uses. Every turn in the road is that will be an extra cost as in electrical not completed to our needs oh that will be an extra cost,wooden french doors that will be an extra cost, pocket doors instead of regular doors that will be an extra cost, flooring that was not included in the budget only labor changed at final proposal. Confrontation with the owner over an added cost to extend a wall to cover back of hanging cabinets that had already been redone but claimed it was our fault for for the rebuild the first time when they built it in the wrong area and built it poorly from the start. At the end of the day we are starting a new month September and are tired of living without a kitchen having to eat out having to wash our dishes in our bathroom and not having security within our house.The mess and basically not being able to enjoy our house and our decision to hire this company to make our home a better home has become the biggest mistake we have ever made. So like we said from the start if you are looking to hire them to build a new home they might be the ones as far as a remodel I would walk the other way and find another company.
