  I hesitated with writing this review as I have never posted a negative review in my life until now. It takes a lot to get me to this point. The reason I'm posting this is to warn future customers about what to expect from a very poorly run business. We hired Rodriquez Painting to paint the exterior of our home. A couple weeks later three people showed up in a PT Cruiser with a couple of small ladders. They had to eventually go buy taller ladders and even used our ladder without permission. I knew something wasn't right because the back of our home is 3 stories tall and their ladders weren't even tall enough to reach the top of the front of our home. That was alarming because I knew there was no way they had spent any time with the Rodriquez team or they would have come prepared. When they arrived the temperature was to cold for them to be painting so I asked them why they would paint when it was too cold. They stated that they were not painting just prepping. The only prep work they did was power wash and very little caulking. No reseating nail holes and caulking them and no caulking around windows etc. This is not what we were told would take place. This is a 4500 square foot home so the prep should have taken a couple of days. The next thing we knew (first day) they were already starting to spray paint on our home in temps too cold to paint. Fast forward to 2 days later they come to the door to tell us they were already done. We went out to walk around with them and found so many areas that were missed and you could also tell they did not back roll (as promised) after they sprayed as they agreed to do. We pointed out multiple areas that needed to be redone. I also told them that I hadn't heard any hammering at all from them reseating nails that had backed out of the siding. We went back in side and shortly after heard someone pounding on our deck. They were not reseating nails.... We voiced concerns with Rodriquez and not once did they come out to address our concerns. After going out multiple times to point out places they had missed we reluctantly paid them. Once they were gone we found multiple places that we had to touch up. A few weeks later when we were looking at the our home from a distance we realized they had over sprayed on our roof in multiple places. I reached out to them and they "would not" come out to look at the overspray on the roof. He said take pictures and send them to us. We tried to take pictures but it was tough to get a good picture due to our house being so tall. At that point we were so frustrated and knew that we were doing business with a company that had no interest in providing good customer service. Please know this. Rodriquez painting is simply a contactor who will send someone / anyone to your house to paint. Any company who valued their reputation would never have sent these people to paint anything more than an out house. Please remember you do get what you pay for so pay a little more and get a reputable company.

  We used Rodriguez Painting of KC this summer and we were very pleased. We also used them previously to paint rental property. The lead person was knowledgeable and communicated well with use. The lead person made good suggestions that would have been costly to us if we had not followed them. We have received complements from our neighbors on our home.

  Exterior Painting

  We had a very good experience with Rodriguez Painting. They were very thorough and detailed. We got an estimate last year which was good for one year. They honored the estimate this year. The painters were prompt and took their time to complete the work. We needed dry rot wood to be replaced and they replaced it, power washed, caulked and painted. Friendly to work with.   Paint the exterior of house and deck

  They did a terrible job to my deck they had a kid repaint my garage doors which was a terrible job my husband and I have sent pictures and called three times they keep saying they are going to come back out and have not returned very poor quality of work and customer service

  Painted our 2 story house

  We used this company a few years ago and they did an excellant job. The workers were very polite and hard workers. I am going to be calling them for some interior painting.

  I will definitely recommend this company. Not at all greedy like others, and they do the job right or till your satisfaction. Thank you so much Victor, will even tell you if something is not good for the job even if it will cost them more. These are people you want to work with.

  I Loved the painting job the Rodriguez Painting did for me in Lees Summit I really recommend this company they did such a great job, the painters were nice and very hard workers, I now love my house on the interior and exterior, definitely go with Rodriguez Painting.
