RODS TREE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE , CALLED FOR APPT. ABOUT THE TREES AND A WEEK LATER THEY SHOWED UP AT THE DOOR WITH AN ESTIMATE WHICH WAS OK. WHEN CALLED TO DO THE WORK THE (MANAGER THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE)--SAID THEY HAVE INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTERS WHICH I THOUGHT WAS ODD! SO THEY COME TO THE FRONT DOOR WITHOUT CALLING AND SAID THEY WOULD BE BACK IN AN HOUR. SO THEY SHOWED AND DONE IN 45 MINUTES AND SAID WE ARE DONE NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY CUT THE BACK TREE ON ONE SIDE AN LEFT THE TREE THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AN OLDER LADY WHICH SHE TRUSTED THIS COMPANY. ---(NEVER AGAIN)-- DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY --VERY BAD WORK THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. WHICH THIS COMPANY WAS (RECOMMENDED WITH FLYING COLORS) ----DO NOT HIRE RODS TREE SERVICE. DAVID S.

Rod did a great job. HIs crew was on time and they pruned our Mulberry tree and removed 9 cypress trees. They cleaned up everything and left no mess at all. I have no complaints and highly recommend

We would NEVER again use or recommend Rod's Tree Service. The tree removal was fantastic with capable workers. After they left, however, the next two weeks dealing with the owner, and waiting for stump grinding was a nightmare. We were told the removal and stump grinding were included in the price quoted but were told later the stump was that the stump was $500 extra. We felt deceived and lied to. We had waited two weeks after the removal and every day had been told by Rod to call back. All we wanted was for them to complete the job. This man seemed to get pleasure jerking us around. We decided we were through and mailed a check, and hired another tree co. to remove the stump. The tree crew also broke out fence gate and post, but we will have someone else repair it. It's not worth dealing with such a joker as Rod. We should have read reviews. It has been a miserable experience but time to let it go and get some peace.Anyone having work done by him should GET IT IN WRITING..He will not honor his word. Best advice: Never use him.

They really are a terrible company to deal with. They never pick up the phone and they call you when they want to. It took several weeks to get payment finalized on their end. On top of that they charge a 5% fee if you use a credit card. This was nowhere mentioned on their website when I booked. I would definitely not recommend as they are not customer service oriented.
