    Please do not hire him, he only asks you and asks for money and he does not finish the job, he comes with a face of such a good person that you believe everything he says promises you a lot and does not fulfill anything. I wish I had seen these reviews before making a contract with him

    Both Alvaro Rojo at Rojo Construction LLC and Luis Romero at Romero Home Specialist are scammers. They steal your money and don't do the job. They might do some work in the beginning, but once you pay them; they never finish the work. We had him do some work on our garage and it took months to just get windows. When he says someone is coming to do the work, 95% of the time they don't show up. His workers left construction debris all over our yard and we had to clean it up several times because our neighbors complained and we had young children. We would have to call and threaten to take him to court to even communicate. His workers stole our nail gun. Our project should have been completed in a few months, now it's been almost 2 years. All of the work failed codes and it took forever for us to pass permits. We will have to hire someone to look over all the work to make sure our garage doesn't burn down. We had to do some of the work to get it to pass. He also works with Rojo Construction and will try to pull permits under his name. Rojo uses a fake permit, a dead's person license. Please report both of them to TN Licensing Board and stay clear from these people.

    Exterior remodel

    Short version: took $10k from me and did not do the work. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you do not hire this man. I hired him in August 2018 to replace windows, siding, gutters and stucco and repaint my home. The job was to take 3 weeks and cost $18.9k. I foolishly paid a deposit of $10k. Long story short it's been 5 months and no windows, half the siding is replaced but not painted, stucco still cracked and my deck torn up. I only got gutters in November after I threatened to report him to the state, and he subcontracted that work. He has lied to me every time he has spoken to me, and broken every promise he has made. He even cried at my kitchen table one day to keep me reporting him to the state. Finally, after months of pressuring, pleading and threatening to try and get this man to fulfill his end of the agreement, asking for a refund and not getting it, I am filing charges of theft by deception with the state attorney general.

    We contracted Rojo to replace brick around four newly installed windows, add stair treads and trim to a flight of stairs and stain them, complete trim work throughout the basement, and tile a walk-in shower. He seemed like a great guy, and knew we had already been treated poorly by another contractor he knew. He promised us he would treat us well and get the job finished up quickly. His work started on June 8th, at which point I gave him $4000. I've given him a total of $8200, and none of the projects have been completed. The brick is all replaced now, after a great deal of pressure on my part for them to finish, but the grading away from my house and external sealing of the wall have not been completed. My back and side yard are both completely covered in brick debris and tools. There is so much garbage that my landscaping company refused to mow my lawn due to damage to their blades from hitting bricks hidden in the grass. The workers also always drink at my house and there are beer cans all over my yard. Stair treads were installed, but the skirting was not. No trim work or staining has been done on the stairs. The tile guy started my walk in shower without ever discussing tile patters with me, and then did a poor job pouring the pan and placing tile. He also did not use any kind of water proofing behind the wall board. Rojo assured me he would have the job redone properly, and I even offered to pay more to make sure it was done properly which he declined, but over a month has passed and the tile saw is still sitting in my yard and no more work has been done. After countless promises of the work being completed within one more week, I gave Rojo one last full week before I filed a complaint. He apologized and promised it would be completed, but 7 days later not one worker has been at my house. Rojo is a nice guy, but for whatever reason his team cannot be trusted to complete a project in a reasonable amount of time, or without completely trashing your home.

    electrical update for kitchen remodel

    This guy is a fraud. Do NOT hire him for any reason. A 3 day job turned into 8 weeks and we forced him to hire another contractor is finish the work. He sent over guys that had no electrical experience for electrical update in a kitchen remodel. Scary. He lost our cat, left the door wide open one night and left us without working electrical outlets for 2 weeks in the rest of our house. He's so slick. He will send his family members over to try and smooth it all over when you question him. Scum.

    Do not use Rojo Construction for any jobs. He will take your money and promise you that he will do all this work but will not. Check the BBB on this company. A complete rip-off. I experienced it first hand. I gave him $2,000 in December 2013 for a job that was to take approx 2 weeks and it took him 3 months and he still didn't finish. Over the 3 month period of calling him repeatedly trying to get him to finish the job, I finally gave up and hired other people to finish the crappy job that was done. Don't get XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXered by this company.
