    Removing tile, replacing with different material and sealing.
    The work was done well and efficiently. But the office is not tuned in to short term projects, trying to set up an absurd payment schedule.

    Kitchen remodeling on our new house purchase

    Romano builders is a top notch construction company. They are high skilled and they helped me bring my house from the current status into the house of my dreams. Romano builders remodel houses and the final results are totally superb. My new kitchen is now a breathtaking space and everybody who visits, agrees. Here is summery of my experience with them:
    We moved to La Cañada Flintridge area from New York and after 6 months of searching for a house, we finally got our new home in a great location that required a lot of remodeling. We wanted to remodel the entire house. We hired Eli and his people after we had several good meetings about what we would like to accomplish. All the old carpets were removed from the dining room area, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms. In the kitchen we also removed all the hardwood and a under layer of old linoleum. The old kitchen cabinets including all the countertops were removed as well. After the various meetings that we had, we came to a conclusion that the new style and layout of all the cabinets for the kitchen and the dining room buffet. We also agreed to have a marble countertops and oak cabinets with glass openings on some of the upper doors. We bought all the stainless-steel appliances and Eli made sure that the cabinets and countertops were perfect (color wise) match to the new appliances. The entire house floor was covered with gorgeous dark red wood which provide a beautiful contrast to the oak cabinets in the kitchen. Eli was always available to us to answer all the questions and concerns that we had and he made sure that the quality control will remain in high levels. Eli’s crew were great as well and they are extremely professional and they do care that love each stage of the work. Whenever it will be time for us to remodeling the other half of the house, we will hire only Romano builders.

    A complete turnaround of the backyard.

    I hired Romano Builders to remodel our backyard. They were referred to us by a relative. The backyard needed a major turnaround. Before the work started, Eli created a 3D design of how it will look like. The design was well detailed and provided us with a great look of how it will look like when it complete. Eli and his office staff took care of all the related paperwork and made sure that everything is done the right way. The team of workers arrived to the house every day and we were fascinated with the progress of it. Each day we noticed some progress on the work and we were excited to see how it was all being put together. When they finished the work, they made sure that everything was in spotless condition. We are really satisfied with their work and we are proud to have family and guests over to hang out in the new backyard.

    For a while we were looking for a company that will come over and remodel our kitchen. We met with Steve and Mario and they gave us a very good impression that they can do our kitchen on the best side and without any problem. Steve showed us several samples of kitchens that he did and he also guided us about what to select and which cabinets can fit us perfectly. Mario was the person that did the actual work with several people. Mario made sure that everything will fit well and that the kitchen will come out without issues. All the materials were ordered by Steve and his office and all we did was selecting the colors and type of cabinets. We are happy and feel lucky to have a company that did the work from a to z.

    Eli did a full house remodel for us by working hand by hand with our architect. Our project included flipping the entire floor plan of the first floor, removing few walls and design and implement the kitchen & bathrooms. Eli and his team were very pleasant people to work with and we didn’t have any problem with them during the whole work. During the whole work, we felt that they always have the best interest of the client. During all the many meetings that we had with Eli before the project started, Eli always asked insightful and thoughtful questions, questions that can show anyone how big his experience is with this type of large scale projects and he want to be sure to understand what we want. Eli wanted to be sure that the designing spaces will meet all of our need and requirements. We had no doubts that Eli is an expert and with many years of experience in construction and he definitely know how to make the most of the spaces and the rooms flow beautifully, are impeccably designed, functional and gorgeous. He knows how to make the most of a budget, to make smart and cost effective decisions. His attention to detail is phenomenal, from the larger design elements, down to all the trims, hardware, outlet placement, and so on. We highly recommend Eli and his staff, we are very lucky to have the pleasure of working with them.

    Master bathroom full remodeling

    Our master bath needed us to do a complete remodeling to it. We have friends who had used Romano builders in the past and they were very happy with the final project that they did for them. When Eli came over to the house on the day and time that we scheduled ahead with the office, he was very prompt, full of ideas, straight to the point and very well-mannered. We explained him our visions and goals of what we would like to achieve in the master bathroom and he listened to us and provided us with his ideas that improved out vision which made him very helpful and productive to this project in addition to his suggestions and experience to help us complete our design.
    On the start day of the work, we were noticed and impressed with all the care and attentions to all the details that the work required and they used to protect and guard the other areas of our home. All the areas were covers with tarps for the floors, dust barriers and covers for their shoes. All the workers were considerate and valued our privacy.
    The work was done and completed on time and mainly within the agreed budget and this is on top of the work quality. We were mainly delighted in the way they addressed worries, replied so many questions and most importantly kept the work area spotless and neat. We will certainly use Romano builders again. Thanks Eli Romano for Job well done!

    Eli was a great professional person to deal with at our house, always happy and optimistic. We mainly appreciate his massive experience of the latest construction features, appliances and skills. He worked closely with his crew of people and sub-contractors in order to see and make sure that they are working according to the plan and that the work will have not even a single mistake. His problems solving approach succeeded and the work came out much better than we thought we can have. Another great addition that we got based on his recommended was the full opening drawers and appliances relocation which are much better than the kitchen itself. We recommend him and his crew and will be happy to be as referrals for him to others.

    Eli and his workers were referred to me by one of my coworkers who hired him recently for his remodeling project at his house. He was very happy with the work that they did and he recommend them to anyone he knows that looking for a contractor regarding to any remodeling project. The bathroom that they did at my house have a complete new look and is now more functional and easy to use. While they were working, I noticed how clean, neat, pleasant to talk to and helpful. My remodeling project was to expand the bathroom into the laundry room and guest bath while keeping the laundry as well but in different shape. Eli was able to provide original and reasonable results while keeping it on budget.

    I had never done any renovations before, and I was concerned about working with a contractor. I am so glad that I chose Romano builders to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. Eli and the workers (Juan, Michel, and Lori) were a pleasure to work with.
    The main things that I appreciated while working with them were:
    - They paid attention to my needs, my thoughts, my ideas, and my vision and worked within my budget (which was the most important thing in this remodeling).
    - Eli with his office staff made sure to pull all permits for the work and they just informed me when they got them or about any stage of the permit (other builders who quoted me said they did not pull permits)
    - Eli made sure to spend a lot of time consulting me and explaining me before the remodeling began. This included many discussions on layouts, appliances/fixtures, designs, what to expect.....
    -Eli scheduled their crew and subcontractors. They were able to completely renovate my kitchen and bathroom in 9 weeks. They worked quickly and efficiently.
    -They paid attention to all the details even the small ones and made sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction.
    - All the materials that they used, were selected by me and they used high quality raw materials
    Overall, I had a good experience working with Romano builders and would not hesitate to use them again.

    Our kitchen needed to be updated. We wanted to replace all the cabinets and appliances only and to add an island. Eli from the company, came over, measured everything and came back after few days with a design and more information about the materials and brands etc..... 2 days it took to remove all the old kitchen and to prepare the kitchen for the new cabinets. 3 days took to install all the new cabinets and the counter tops. and 1 day for finalizing the kitchen. (Appliances, faucets etc...) It came out good and beautiful.

    We used Romano builders for our kitchen remodeling project. This remodeling included all the new and custom (upper and lower) cabinets with an island in the center of the kitchen that added so much beauty and functionality to the super strange kitchen layout. The quality of the wood cabinets is really great and high. Great thick wood, anti-slam doors, changeable shelves, modified doors, and even custom handles. Eli from Romano builders installed all the counter tops that matched perfectly with the wood. The island that we did, was furnished with the under sink and wine cooler. The efficient recessed lights and the low voltage lights in the upper cabinets added so much functionality features to the kitchen which was excellent. The engineered wood flooring was installed by Eli’s workers in the kitchen after Eli helped me personally to get a great discount on from his vendor. And Last thing was the back-splash who also was installed beautifully. Eli is a remarkable contractor in the Los Angeles area. He provide outstanding customer service and deliver a great construction. He also have a very professional and great staff. When I contacted Eli for the first time, I felt I was in good hands. He had an incredible attitude, and he arrived ready to the appointment. The remodeling project was managed in a fast pace and everything was remodeled with real knowledgeable specialists. Looking how the working crew was working on the kitchen was pretty substantial. They were very accurate, detailed and cared about quality. I was surprised to see the crew cleaning the site after finishing their daily work. At the end, we had a very good experience with Eli from Romano builders and we are very pleased with the great work and final price. I highly recommend Romano builders.

    Lori & Eli did a great job, keeping in contact. We live in Chicago, 2 bathroom remodel was in Long Beach, CA. We had several issues with the supplier of materials of the project. Romano Builders stayed on top of it, and kept the supplier on their toes, complete demo and rebuild of bathrooms. Treated the job and our home as if it was theirs. Very good workmanship, employees very courteous, bathrooms look great! Would highly recommend them, will look forward to working with them on our next project!

    Romano Builders rebuilt my deck with my choice of no-maintenance solid vinyl, wood grain (gorgeous) planks. Reinforced under structures and replaced rotted beams/cross bars. The whole job was done quickly, and beautifully. I am very happy with my results. Shari Schreiber, M.A.
