Our experience with Ron Romero was incredible. 4 stage preparation on all of our trim work prior to to finish coats of Dunn Edwards premium paint product. Detailed from the get go. Paint prep was not thorough. Paint peeled after less than 30 days. Overspray on my fence, wall and anything else not covered property. Low quality paint. I agree that he never comes back to see what is wrong, just moves on to the next customer. CSLB site says he has no employees but when he comes to quote you he brags about how long the guys have been working for him. Nice way to dodge workers comp insurance. Nice enough guy, just needs to be more hands on when something goes wrong. Never again.

Very professional. Over 30 years in the business. Creative design. Custom interior and Exterior painting applications and preparation. We were given three different estimates. What can I save except, Ron answers the phone, no prompts, no voicemail. If he is busy, he promptly calls back. Quickly responds to all questions, answers with exceptional knowledge. Promptly scheduled an appointment, and was right on time. After completely detailing exactly what would be done, he designed colors to enhance our home. Scheduled a date to proceed with painting, and it was a wonderful experience. Our home looks beautiful, so happy with our decision to have Ron take care of everything. Will definitely recommend Ron.

I 100% agree with the others. In our case, the paint job needed fixing after less than 30 days because it was peeling and blistering. They use low quality paint and water it down and even tho he swears he does prep work, he didn't on our house. Sad to see that he continues to do his business this way. It is going to cost me twice what I paid him to have my house redone because they now have to scrape off all of the junk paint he put on my house.

Ron's crew painted our house about 3 years ago and to be honest, it looks worse now than it did before he painted it. He advertises low prices and quality work but mostly you get low prices and the need to re-do the job within a few years. Run as far away from him as possible. Oh and when you complain he can't be bothered to come back and even see what you're referring to ... sends one of the "crew." ...

We have been waiting for more than a week for this guys quote. Tried to give him the benefit of doubt due to the holiday, but just got word that he was scared of a renter that kept telling him what he wanted. Who's paying the bill here? I AM! Who should he listen to? ME! Too bad for him, he lost out on this job and the other 4 jobs I had lined him up for. Stupid, Stupid people. Oh well, someone else will get his work. I didn't even want to give him 1 star, but it wouldn't allow me to put zero!

I agree about his paint job not lasting. He also tends to fib. Just checked out his license on the State Contractor's web site and it is now suspended. Several complaints about him online. Wish I'd read those first!

We have used Ron Romero and Sons to paint our home twice, eleven years and ago and 2 weeks ago. We also had him paint our 4 bedroom condo rental. Our son's in-laws also used him to paint both inside and outside their home last year.

We have been extremely satisfied at how efficient and well the work has been done.We never hesitate to recommend him.
