Was called to put in a new thermostat (WI FI enabled) in a home built in 2018. Ron sent his son, Cody, to do the installation. Less than a week later, when cooling was needed, the system was pumping out hot air. I called Ron and said this was not super urgent, but it needed to be fixed. I then noticed that the heat pump was never coming on when heating, so all heat was coming from auxiliary heat only, much more expensive. I called Ron again and said this was now costing me money, and needed to be fixed immediately. He said he would be out the next day and never showed. I called daily for another week with no answer, and then finally got through to him. He made another appointment to come out two days later, and again didn't show up. I then spent 3 more weeks calling him with no answer. At that point I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint for a refund. I had called another contractor at that point and they came out and corrected the mis-wired thermostat quite easily. That company said he needed to be licensed to work on thermostats. I don't know that his son even has an electrician's license. Two weeks later, he finally calls and said I needed to contact Honeywell on how to wire the thermostat. I told him it had been fixed, that there was a complaint with the BBB, and he needed to refund my money. He said I better think twice before I take that action. Now I see he had his license pulled from this site. Very dishonest man and terrible businessman. BEWARE!!
