Ron Harford was contracted to wire our house during new construction. As of this date and repeated attempts to get him to honor his contract with us, and with only $500.00 to go to finish all work, he has "disappeared". I can only assume that the wide scope of work still to be done does not seem to be worth his while.
This lack of integrity extends to his work practices as well, as he used to show up for less than an hour at a time and then disappear for months. This job has been going on for three years, and while we spend the majority of our time there in the summer, we were always willing to make accommodations if he wanted to work while we were not there, especially useful during covid times.
This lack of integrity extends to his work performance as well, as we have a light that is non functional, and we even had to practically beg him to install hardwired smoke detectors in our home after he knew we were living there-astonishing for a fire chief of Belmont!
Unfortunately, he has his son working for him while he practices such appalling lack of commitment to his contract work- a bad example at least and a great disappointment to us.
