    Purchased new construction

    Worst experience ever. Stay far away from Rood Homes LLC/ Torrey Steves owner. We purchased a new construction on 10/29/2020 at the price of just under 500,00.00, per our purchase a agreement Torrey Steves had 30 days to accomplish a punch list of items that he had not accomplished prior to signing the contract, to date, 03/10/2021 there are items still outstanding on the list. After multiple attempts to get something/anything done we have now hired an attorney (more money out of our pocket) to try an resolve the issues. Best review I could give is to stay far away from this builder.

    Stephanie, Once again everything you have written is absolutely false. We had an agreement to finish the 3 items, your agent refused to respond as did you to set up a time. You are only interested in drama. You have made zero attempts to contact me other than your phishing scam. You dont write the truth, like how your husband was excessively texting me like a teenager after I told him and your son I would go down and check on the order, or how they screwed up a job and wanted more money to do it right. Or that you broke a doorknob and somehow thought I should pay for it or that you hang a mirror on a door and that it miraculously rubs and is also my fault. Or that your husband called me to look at a door 3 times and it shut fine everytime. Maybe that your son and I who actually lives in the house were taking care of everything until you told me he was incompetent and couldn't figure out how to call the av guy, or that half of the 6 items you complained about were done and you were clueless. Next time you write a review include some truth.
