Ripped Off by "Roofing by Home Plus" CCC1333903 (239 440-7676)

Fact 1: Requested and received quotation to repair damage to our roof after Hurricane Ian.

Fact 2: I accepted the quote and authorized work to be preformed.

Fact 3: They eventually sent out a non-English-speaking cru to complete the work. Since I could not communicate, I had to assume everything went well and that the delivered materials were actually used.

Fact 4: They then sent an invoice for the work as quoted. We promptly paid that invoice. Too bad at age 69 I no longer possess the ability to prance on a rooftop.

Fact 5: I had to hire an independent engineering firm to evaluate hurricane damages to our entire home, for unrelated insurance purposes. That inspection revealed the work on the roof was not completed as quoted or invoiced.

Fact 6: I had Gary Kresage from the Home Plus come out and inspect the actual repair.

Fact 7: Gary Kresage spoke with Todd LaBair, who was the person that did the initial quotation. They concluded that the work as quoted did not get done.

Fact 8: I was told that someone would come back out and perform the service properly.

Fact 9: When I didn't hear anything I called and was told that it was in dispatch's hands and to deal with them.

Fact 10: I had to contacted dispatch and was told they would call me with an install date.

Fact 11: After multiple attempts to communicate. Clearly, I was now being ghosted.

Fact 12: I wrote and sent a certified letter to the owner on record explaining my situation. Apparently he couldn't be bothered and I never received a response, once again ghosted.

Fact 13: I filed a police report with the Cape Coral police department.

Fact 14: I am now in the process of having the roof professionally repaired, by a reputable well established company.

Fact 15: Once completed, I will be filing a lawsuit for intentional fraud and theft of services, thus seeking any and all viable damages against Roofing by Home Plus, its owner, and the two individuals involved in the on-site inspections.

Fact 16: In my opinion, any reputable company would stand behind their work. Let alone they should have done it correctly in the first place. I can not suggest that anyone use Roofing by Home Plus to protect their home and assets.

Fact 17: Review the FACTS!!! Stay away - don't use them - they can't be trusted.

Fact 18: Pictures, communications, and hardcopy data as proof on file for review upon request.
