    Finish Basement
    $73,000

    Rosewood Construction did an excellent job finishing ~1,200 sq feet in our basement, including a full bath and wet bar. They maintained a high degree of professionalism and responsiveness throughout and we would recommend them for anyone with a similar project.

    We obtained quotes from several different companies prior to starting the project and Rosewood was the most responsive and the most forthright with their communications. They reviewed the layout of the space and came up with a good design solution that accommodated our needs despite the challenging initial layout of the space. They did not try to force us into a showroom to upsell us, talk us out of pulling permits, or take weeks/months to provide quotes like some of the other vendors we contacted.

    Rosewood maintained this straightforward and responsive approach throughout the project. When we asked for changes or fixes to things that were not up to standard, Rosewood either agreed and executed quickly or provided a reasonable explanation for why a change wasn't feasible or advisable. The sub-contractors Rosewood used were excellent as well, and worked to ensure the project proceeded in a timely manner despite some unexpected challenges.

    Rosewood did our basement and basement bathroom. They also put in a wet bar. Their work was fast and reasonably priced. We would recommend them.

    Rosewood Construction LLC finished ours and our neighbor's basement. Both project turned out great and we are very pleased with the final result. They are quick and not the most expensive in town.

    We had a fairly extensive renovation (kitchen, two bathrooms, floors refinished and rooms painted) over a 8-12 week period. The owner Nicholas seemed patient and determined to please us. I would love to rate 5 stars except for a few issues. Our floors were not stained the correct stain, which was communicated via email with Nicholas, to which he replied it was (although the stain selected was darker than the finished floors). We still have plumbing issues in one bathroom making it unusable to shower/bathe. After discussing this issue weekly with Nicholas, his last communication, including the day he left, was we had to replace the valve and upon receipt of the valve and door handles, he would have them replaced. There were small things that were to be completed ( bathroom valve, door handles and shelving) and were not. I debated on giving 2 stars as he basically disappeared and has never returned a call or email after a month long of attempts. I would highly recommend anyone using him understand he subs 99% of his work out. We failed to ask for a list of the contractors like plumbers which is why we still don’t have an operating bathroom. Disappointed to say the least after spending over $100k...

    It's been very frustrating as we invested a lot of our money and our own time researching and buying materials as Nicholas was not able to provide any options other than one Branbury by Moen. If you are ok with a renovation that will not be complete or fully function at a budget level, perhaps he's the contractor for you.
    We were lucky the end result esthetically was complete as I managed the project and ordered/selected all of the materials including vanities, hardware, backsplash and tile.

    While he was usually working to please, we are extremely disappointed by his complete disappearance w/o explanation. All we have asked is for the plumbers name to complete the bathroom, which he has not provided.
