Jim Ross has poor quality and even poorer communication. The project started with day one a supporting wall accidentally being removed after “remove” was written on a wall meaning remove the drywall. It only got worse from there with little oversight of subcontractors that continued to damage many areas of our home. Doors not involved in the project were damaged, paint slopped everywhere, $40,000 custom cabinets damaged, cedar beam in our dining room damaged, suspension cables on chandelier cut inappropriately requiring replacement, electrical work needed redone (outlets and fans didn’t function), sprinkler in our yard damaged (no work being done in the yard), bath tub in a bathroom not involved in the project damaged, hardwood floors poorly refinished and damaged, and a dishwasher cut to be installed damaging the seal and no longer works and has a voided warranty. The communication from Jim regarding these errors was typically that we should just fire him and that the subs didn’t damage things “on purpose”. Jim didn’t make good on repairing anything. Buyer beware choose another contractor.
