I had Roundtree Inc. company replace my roof. Lenny was very convincing that “his costumers satisfaction was extremely important to him and he would do whatever it takes to keep them happy”. If there was anything I was unhappy with just let him know.
During the first winter after the roof was replaced I had a water bubble form on the ceiling my kitchen.
I went up into the attic and found all the rafters were dripping with condensation. I took pictures and sent them to Lenny. He said the exhaust pipe from my furnace had broken loose.
Lenny Roundtree told me that I needed to buy a replacement pipe and install it. I would need to replace some of the water logged insulation and contact a repair company and have my ceiling repaired.
Lenny told me he was not responsible for the repairs and that I would have to pay for them. He would not even come over to inspect the damage.
I don’t feel that it is my responsibility for the repairs since the exhaust pipe was damaged during the roof replacement. Roundtree Inc. does not stand behind their work. As soon as my check was cashed, he was gone and unavailable. So much for “my customers are extremely important to me and I will do whatever it takes to keep them happy”.
I thought that licensed companies like roofers had to carry insurance for situations like this but that makes me wonder if Roundtree Inc is even insured.
I also paid for one sheet plywood replacement if needed. I told Lenny that there was a “soft spot” in front of the swamp cooler. He checked and assured me it was just fine. When I went up on the roof to service the swamp cooler after the new roof was put on, the roof still has a soft spot in it.
I don’t know if Lenny blew me off because I am a retired senior citizen with limited funds or not.
Bottom line is I am extremely dissatisfied with Roundtree Inc. and can not recommend it to my friends or anyone else.
