    Where do I start?

    During the construction of our home (2016), we wanted a shower bench installed in our master bath. Yes, it would have been a retrofit, because the size of the shower (quite a large area) was not properly optimized; thus the request for a bench. The request was granted, however the quality was beyond substandard. The grout popped out due to water seeping into structure. Since this was a warranty item, it was worked on....notice I didn't say RESOLVED. Discovery upon tear down....three legged bench, no waterproofing. The sub did (what I thought) was a through job in fixing, until 4July2018 when I was cleaning the shower. Grout was popping out again and in the same area. Since it was out of warranty at this time, I called (texted) the sub to let him know the issue resurfaced. Sub was less than professional, but that situation was resolved....I did not want him to "REPAIR" this issue. I contacted my handyman (J Dub Construction) and he came out later in the week to make an assessment. His assessment was: POORLY done, Improper materials used for a shower.

    I can provide a lot more detail as to the discovery. In conclusion, I would NOT recommend RP (lack of) Integrity to do ANYTHING regarding remodeling, building a home (much less a dog house) due to his substandard material, very inexperienced sub's and overall cost cutting measures which the homeowner will suffer.

    J Dub Construction did an AWESOME job of resolving this FUBAR done by RP and his sub.

    I will be providing the BBB with pictures and documentation as to this catastrophe.

    Quality Control is non-existent. No written communications, only verbal through a second or third party. The builder acts like a petulant child when wrong or purchaser (myself) disagrees

    We love the design, but as stated upon my intro.... QUALITY CONTROL is non-existent
