    14,000 for 20 hours of work to build 11 cabinets. No workshop, he builds on site. Kitchen smelled like glue for a week. He bought the wrong handles and started whining You're not going to pay me. He painted them black now all chipped and wouldn't respond when I wanted new ones but he's quick to respond to my reviews. Huge chunks of drywall missing and says he doesn't fix any damage it's in the fine print. Couldn't believe a professional would leave that kind of damage for ME to fix.

    My husband and I researched and received estimates for about 6-10 different companies for about 6 years. I also went to several home shows and focused on kitchen and kitchen remodeling. We became very frustrated with estimates for our kitchen being around 40% of what are home cost. FYI we were NOT taking down a wall! Our kitchen is about um 12×14. I should know that! But by know means is it considered large. It is medium size. My husband who wasn't interested in the beginning just watched me after the first two estimates came in at 40,000! On the other end the estimate was as high as 65,000 from two other companies. The problem was matching price with quality. I didn't want a contractor who does everything. I wanted a high end cabinet installer with someone I could TRUST. So we finally said let's do what we do when we go out to eat sometime. Look for a small local company. Carl did finshed my kitchen in 15 days in 2018. I had him do my 96 year old grandmother' kitchen in 2019. Please get 3 estimates for your kitchen then call Evanko woodworking. That way you can appreciate his honesty & estimate! Trust is the Number 1 asset in making decisions in my life. Why would that change for a kitchen remodel? Sorry this post is so long. I have never posted before on my experience. I hope thos helps someone.
