I provide very few reviews but had to let others know this guy is the real deal.
Background:
We had two rooms with existing solid hardwood refinished last week by Richar (not Richard) and his team. One a bedroom with Ash and the other combined kitchen/dining room which has Hickory. Both floors were quality brands, factory pre-finished and were bought at Lumber Liquidators. Both wood types have a lot of natural color and grain variation which is what we like about them - lots of character. The middle of the bedroom flooring had finish completely worn off from 20 years of children and dirty shoes and the original and only route to the backyard for many years until a remodel. The kitchen had "hand scraped" flooring which has texture purposely created in the surface at the factory. The high traffic areas had the finish worn off the highest surfaces of those boards. I called a couple firms, one being Peter Innes Floors and they referred to RRR because Peter is retiring from the business. Richar was a long term employee now running his own outfit.Reasons you should hire RRR Flooring:
1) Knowledge and Experience - Richar immediately recognized the wood, it's attributes, what needed to be done and how to get re-done flooring to blend with adjacent rooms. He also provided three examples of stain and finish in each room after sanding to better illustrate the end result and aid in choosing the right one. He told us ahead of time what he would recommend and that is the stain we chose after seeing it in place.
2) Timely and Reliable - Richar showed up on time, every time from the first visit to provide an estimate to the last day of work and follow up. The crew had all of the tools and materials they needed from the start of each day – no wasted time.
3) Quality of Work and Value - I work with large contractors everyday and have lots of residential remodel experience. This work is a specialty and requires the right equipment and capability to perform in an occupied home. The work was well executed and reasonably priced. The floors look great and better than the original, especially the kitchen.
4) Communication and Follow Up - Richar was clear about availability to start, times of day when they would start/stop and when we could resume entry into the rooms each day. His crew moved all of the furniture and protected pieces placed outside with plastic sheeting. They returned to move furniture back in as agreed and did so with care.Lastly, an example of Richar's professionalism: they had to remove a magnetic door stop from the baseboard in the bedroom to refinish the floor. After all was completed and they had left the job, I called because I couldn't find the doorstop. Maybe they had put it in their vehicle or tool bags by mistake? Richar responded and said they would look for it. Within a few hours he was at my front door with a new doorstop which matched exactly. What else can you say - this type of service is all too uncommon today but not for RRR Hardwood Floors. You'll be glad you hired them.

By Loren N.July 14, 2022Walnut hardwood floor fix and refinish
We have walnut flooring throughout on several levels. We had a leak and needed boards replaced and in order to blend, entire floor needed to be resanded, sealed and finished. Richard and his crew secured the area to minimize dust impact and meticulously went about their business. Incredible attention to detail! The floors didn’t look this good when we bought the house and they’d just been refinished! What an amazing job! This is how walnut should look - stunning! We’ll have them do the step-down LR next and some staircases as well. No doubt their floors will also wear better than the prior version. We’ve already seen evidence of this. Thanks so much, Richard and the RRR team!

I have used RRR Hardwood Floors to refinish a floor, install a new floor and to restore a cement floor. In my opinion they provide highly skilled and reasonably priced service. They arrive on time, do the work on time and do an excellent job of cleanup. You will not regret using this company.
