RSC Landscape, formerly known as Robert S. Cruikshank Landscaping, traces its roots back to its founder, Robert S. Cruikshank, who established the company in 1993. Upon Robert's retirement, the company transitioned to a new generation, with some of his employees taking over the reins.
While embracing change, we remain steadfast in upholding the core values of the company: relationships, respect, responsibility and reputation.
Marisol Otero and Noah Pitts assumed the role of General Managers, preserving the majority of the original company staff while embracing modernization through technological advancements and updated machinery to enhance processes and keep pace with the evolving industry.
We specialize in crafting a diverse range of outdoor installations to enhance gardens and outdoor spaces, such as: concrete, masonry stone, metalwork, rough and fine carpentry, architectural finishes, among others.
At RSC Landscape, we understand that successful landscape projects rely on effective teamwork. We collaborate closely with our clients and their designers/architects throughout all project stages.     My family has worked with Robert Cruikshank since we bought our house twenty years ago for every landscaping job imaginable. There is no need to think about anyone else. He is totally helpful and on time with everything and his crew is highly qualified and super friendly.

    Two different major landscaping projects.

    Robert has done two different major landscaping projects for us. Both turned out beautifully. The last project was our front yard in Orinda. He had to terrace and build retaining walls, he created a new front porch paved area, a number of planting areas, and planted over a hundred succulents and other drought resistant plants. He also installed a large fountain, installed irrigation, and created new and lovely fencing. He is extremely professional and reliable. You simply cannot find a better contractor. Honestly, I use him as the standard that I demand from other contractors.

    major landscaping project including replacing retaining walls

    Robert Cruikshank is the best contractor I've ever worked with. He gives you a detailed plan and cost after determining your needs. If issues come up he consults and presents different options. He keeps the paperwork updated so you are never in the dark on where you are in the project. I would recommend him for any landscaping project without reservation and would hire him for any future projects.
