By Jeremy C.June 18, 2019re-shingle roof$2,950
RSW added a new layer of roofing to my home, in mid-April. I was surprised by how un-communicative he was but he did it on time and for the price agreed. However, part of the price was a trash-out, where they remove all of their trash. That was never done. The job completed on a Thursday, on the following Sunday I had to remove all of the trash myself. 2 months later while having my evaporative cooling system serviced, I was shown by that technician that instead of shingling under the legs of my a/c unit, they cut holes around it and now water was running down beneath the new shingles. I contacted RSW, he said he would have his guys come fix it, but they haven't. Now he wont answer my calls or texts 2 weeks later.

Same basic idea as Jeremy Curtis’s experience. RSW does NOT know how to shingle around metal pieces without causing a leak and my dad’s ceiling (in Elk Ridge, UT) was destroyed twice by leaks in his roof: once when RSW was first finished and again when they said the problem was “fixed.” My dad is 80 but they NEVER went back to fix his ceiling, but ignored and bullied him about it. I finally went and fixed the damage — two years after RSW’s incompetence led to their destroyed ceiling. Rick is the worst contractor I have ever known about and can’t believe he is licensed. Don’t believe my story? Email me at [email protected] or text me at 435-590-4516 and I will be happy to show you much more about what you’re getting yourself into if you hire RSW to “fix” your roof.
