The renovation was to be completed in 5 weeks as written in the contract. The house was not able to be placed on the market for 8 months secondary to RTP Construction. The job was still not completed and following a Home Inspection electrical, wall framing and carpentry was found to be done with "Not good Practice." The materials used did not reflect the price charged for them. The work done on the hardwood floors was done so poorly the house could not be placed on the market until they were redone at the owners expense. This contractor blamed the condition of the floors with the second contractor not experiencing any difficulties. He then charged for doing work that had to be done over by someone else. This contractor stated overhead lighting could not be installed with this found to be not true by the Home Inspection. This charge was never changed to reflect the downgrade to 2 light fixtures which were placed in the residence. I would not recommend RTP Construction to my worst enemy although it would be tempting.

Never would I recommend him to do anything for me. His workmanship sucks, he is a liar and a thief. home was suppose to be done in three weeks and 3 months later it still was not complete. I threw him off the job and had someone else complete the project . not happy with him what so ever.
