Rudd heating and air was one of four companies I contacted to replace a 18 yr heat pump and air handler. Bill **** stopped by with his proposal ahead of time, walked through the house and attic, sat down and explained the benefits of different levels of equipment. No hard sell, just laid out the facts. I chose a 16 seer compressor and a 2 stage air handler. Not the least expensive but not the most either. Fellows arrived 15 min before schedule, ready to work. Like a rehearsed script they discussed what needed to be done and after that didn't stop working until lunch. They did run into a problem with the air handler having to be moved 90 degrees which caused the duct work to be changed but after Hal stopped by and they discussed it a quick trip to lowes for some supplies solved that. Installation took about 8 hours which include a through explanation of how to work the American Standard thermostat with alexia. Which is cool because I can track how long the heat pump runs each day and at which speed the air handler runs at!! So, excellent product, good price, professional installation, and I'm saving money!! I highly recommend Rudd Heating and Air!!
