Horrible experience with building process. 2 years since we built our home with this company and I still find so many wrong and terribly executed things in my house that need to be completely redone. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their warranty is a joke, work quality is terrible. My house start falling apart from the moment I moved in.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! Their contract ironically prevents recovery rights for “aggravation, pain and suffering, mental anguish, or emotional distress.” That is precisely what they put a multi-generational family of five with two USMC veterans through during a 19 MONTH building process!! One was a USMC Vietnam combat veteran who lost his beautiful wife to a horrific battle with dementia during the build.
19 MONTH process started in December 2017 and was a TOTAL mess. Top screw ups - 1) Driveway built 25 ft OVER property line preventing clear title and then started to fall apart 3 months post-install, 2) Brand new roof needed repairs, 3) Stucco without expansion joints would cost at least $5-10K to fix, 4) Septic tank with sprayers placed on wrong side of house, 5) Kitchen vent hood has overhead vent that exhausts onto ceiling instead of recirculating system promised, 6) Had to pay more because office did not reserve hard surface material in time, 7) Installed wrong wood flooring AND backsplash, 8) Fireplace installed incorrectly, 9) Kitchen cabinets and house walls painted wrong color and finish, 10) Water leaks in garage, 11) Water line kink in master bath, 12) Major water drainage issues on property, 13) Worker even defecated in backyard vs using onsite porta potty. These only scratch the surface! Had to get a lawyer involved at 16 months to try to hold the builder accountable. Finally terminated the contract in July 2019. Builder then listed the property at $129,000 more than the original contracted price. Property closed on April 21, 2020 for $100,000 more than the original contracted price. Asked builder to refund our original earnest money and prepaids, but they refused.

Regarding your review, your 3rd party inspection did not line up with local building codes, independent analysis of the claims stated within or HBA guidelines governing the contract to build. We notified you of these inconsistencies and you were unwilling to move forward with your contractual obligations. A family has sinse purchased the home, and are so happy with it that they've recommended their family to build with us, and they are very pleased with their home and the process it took to build. The worse builder & craftsmanship in Tulsa!!! A five year old could build a better house with Legos. Save yourself the time, money, frustration & headaches and work with another builder. The owner Daniel Ruhl & his knuckelheads are all master manipulators, who twist words, deny responsibilities, and outright lie to your face with zero shame. Run as far away & as fast as you can!
