Bathroom demo, subfloor build, tile, and cement board hanging
    $3,925

I hired Rukadog Remodeling when I was in a bind. My original tiler could no longer stay on schedule do to over booking. That is when Rukadog Remodeling, John Casey, was hired. He did well enough job on the demo work. Got it done in a timely manner. I then hired him to build the subfloor since there would be a lip entering the rooms from hallways/bedrooms. He finished building the subfloor for one of the bathrooms, and it was fine although my plumber had issues with support placements.

Upon hiring John to finish the rest of the job, ie the tile work and hanging of cement boards, he proceeds to take two days off when he only asked for one. The night of the second day off, he tells me he will be here at 9 am. Come 9 am, he was not and asks for the deposit (half the work) for tile job which was paid. Claims he purchased the materials and ghosts me the rest of the day. Calls at 4 pm and apologizes.

By this time I have already hired another company to finish the work. I am back on schedule, no help from Rukadog Remodeling . As of now, I consider this company a scammer as I have yet to get my deposit back for work not started. He did leave his tools here for several days as well.
