I can not give a vote of confidence to hiring this contractor. Brian is a contractor who is not eager to please and places blame for his aloofness on the customer not continuously following up when he should know better than to consider a job done without following up himself. He took advantage of a customer who had paid him in full and who didn't realize they were entitled to a completed job and one that was properly and expertly executed. He takes an inordinate amount of time (several days to weeks) to return calls; he disregarded and ignored complaints about workers' improper installation of countertops; he never checked in after he got paid to see if the work had been completed satisfactorily; he completely forgot about appointments or did not show (with no call of apology) continually citing a busy schedule; the workers he hired damaged walls which went unfixed, they did not install countertops with care or perfection, and the job was left sloppy. Besides the countertops and sink being new, looking closer the kitchen looks unfinished and shabby. Furthermore, he left town without 1) making sure the job was finished, 2) inspecting the work of people he hired to do the work, or 3) following up to make sure there were no outstanding issues despite numerous calls and texts during the installation citing fixes that needed to be made. The customer had saved up and dreamed of a lovely new kitchen and instead was left unsatisfied and with a kitchen that needs additional work because of laziness and no attention to detail. Over a year later, I am still waiting for him to rectify the situation.
