Russ Rider Home Iprovement was excellent to work with and the quality of their work was first rate. Communication was tremendous and the price was great. I would not hesitate to use them again. We had a wonderful experience with them as they worked on our home.

The only way to start this review is to emphatically state "Where has Russ Rider and Rider Home Improvement been all my life?" I am in my late 70's, have been a homeowner for 55 years and have worked with many contractors in my life. What a privilege it was to work with Russ and his crew! I have never engaged with a more professional, competent, thorough, honest, straight forward and pleasant contractor in my life.
I had to have 2 roofs replaced and when Russ showed up, I knew from the first few minutes that I had found a gem. His down to earth, friendly, likeable, no nonsense manner exuded fairness, knowledge and competence. I also knew that his word was bond … No sales pitch, no pressure, no fancy marketing strategy, nothing but facts and truth. When I learned that he does over 100 roofs a season with only word of mouth advertising, I asked how that could be. He told me that he treats his customers and his crew as if they were family and friends. I was so impressed that for the first time in my life I didn't even bother with the normal course of getting multiple bids.
Russ's crew showed up at 7:00 am and immediately started working… non-stop until dark. The crew, led by the foreman Pablo worked together like a well-oiled machine. They knew what their job was and everyone was a true craftsman. They got rained out heavily 2-3 times but handled the interruptions perfectly ensuring no damage to the roofs.
During the course of the job, we changed the scope of the work to include roofing 2 garages, adding an overhang and installing a bathroom vent. I called Russ to inform him and he immediately gave me the price and called his crew. I went to the crew a half hour later to make sure they knew about the change and not only did they know of the change but already started working on it!
When it came time to settle up, I was expecting a little sticker shock because of the changes I had requested and some unforeseen issues. NOPE! The prices he originally quoted me on both the job and the changes were exactly what he said when he gave them to me. In sum, I would of course highly and unconditionally recommend Russ Rider and Rider Home improvement to everyone and anyone I know. I only wish I could give Russ more than 5 stars!
