    foundations project

    Feedback on Rutherford Construction Company:

    Construction work on my 24' X 24' workshop was completed on January 13, 2017.

    1. The excavation work to pour the foundation on uneven ground was done superbly

    2. Preparation for pouring the 4" thick concrete slab was done professionally and with attention to details

    3. The 4" slab was poured and worked to allow for tie-down studs and drain etc. --a job well done

    4. A 24' X 24' workshop was built on top of the 4" concrete slab with features such as overhangs on all four sides and a wide apron on front side of the building, please see the attached photo

    5. Finally, dressed the building with insulation, added ceiling and inside walls over wiring allowing for switches, outlets and lights.

    Summary: Rutherford construction company specialized in building log homes cost-to-cost. I was very fortunate to be close to their headquarter located in Camden Tennessee. The father and son team worked tirelessly to build my workshop and took great pain to make sure it is more than a metal building but a structure with personality and spirit.

    I would rate this contractor at 100%. Build was totally square & tight. Met budgets & timelines. Perfection was his ultimate goal.
