I hired him to install fiber cement siding and j channel around windows on the back of my house. I mentioned to him that I would be installing fiber cement around the rest of my home in the future. He said the I should "hurry, because the product he ordered had been discontinued." The reason I choose this siding was because of a 50 year warranty. I have requested the receipt many, many times and Mr. Mendez has failed to provide any receipt and will not tell me where he purchased the product. On one occasion he said he was installing similar material on another home and would make a copy of their receipt and give to me, for warranty purposes. Furthermore, Mr. Mendez did not install J-channeling around windows, only added trim. He also left his materials in my backyard for over 8 months! He only came to retrieve them once I threatened to sell them. Rosalio would not supply me with leftover siding materials from my project so that I could try and match for the rest of my home.
