RX, Solar and its owner, Alex Lim are frauds and engage in deceitful business practices. Per our contract, RX Solar/Alex Lim would install and commission a “turn key” solar system on the roof of our residential home that would lower the cost of our electricity.
Ultimately, Lim partially installed the hardware, but didn’t finish the installation, failed to submit the required PG&E application, purposefully let our solar permit with the City of Oakland expire, and did not ever commission the project, meaning the solar equipment was installed but not operational, and therefore useless to us.
Alex Lim, Owner of RX Solar, Inc., assured us he was submitting the NEM 2 application with PG&E to commission the solar system. PG&E later informed us that an application was never submitted, at which point we were also notified that NEM 2 status, with the savings attributed to NEM2, was lost.
After months of reaching out to Lim about how to complete our project, he abandoned the project, withheld serial numbers that were needed to commission the system, and refused to share critical documents for another professional to finish the project in his absence.
Instead of having the professional integrity to help us find a way to complete our solar project, and after failing to respond to invitations to mediate the issue via the CLSB and the BBB, Lim instead failed to meet us at Small Claims Court (another mediation opportunity) and sent an attorney to serve us with a baseless lawsuit causing our family further harm. STAY AWAY from this company and its owner. They are a danger to the community and will steal your money.
