This "contractor" misrepresented himself as licensed & insured during a master bath renovation. The license number 2705112004 is for a Class C contractor and expired 12/31/2010 (http://www.dpor.virginia.gov/LicenseLookup/). He showed up to work around 10:30 or later and his work needed constant monitoring for quality with lots of do-overs even after he was given specific instructions on what we wanted. He was wasteful with the materials we supplies and disrespectful of our home leaving a mess for us to clean daily. Our project which should have taken approximately 3 weeks began June 4, 2012 and is still not finished as of July 15. Ryan LaTulippe was asked to leave and we are still finding structural problems with his work. Our mistake was trusting his word that he was a professional and believing his excuses about computer issues, wife out of town, etc. and not insisting on a signed contract up-front.
