    build garage
    $68,000

My garage was started in Oct 2018. Concrete for the floor was not poured until Jun 12, 2019. The project is still incomplete. I had paid for the concrete work (patio, garage floor and driveway) in 2018, but the driveway and patio are still not installed. I had to contact him in Sep 2019 to get the steel roof finally installed. It is not the color I originally wanted, but at least it is on. The ridge cap on the roof is still the temporary one installed (color does not match roof).
Scott, his wife & 1 local day worker were the only workers on the site. They did not come every day and many times only worked a couple of hours before leaving again. The local worker they had often worked unsupervised.
The quality of the work is subpar. All of the windows are crooked, the rows of block are also uneven and crooked. Cracks developed in the blockwork the first winter. The studs in the wall are not set on 16" centers, they vary from 13" to 17". My 10' ceiling is actually 10'6" (made finishing the inside interesting).
